Successful SAP SuccessFactors HCM implementation for the SNP Group
As a global software consulting company with over 1,500 employees, SNP Group embarked on a strategic initiative to modernize its HR landscape. The goal was to improve efficiency, support a growing and mobile workforce, and provide managers with intuitive, accessible tools. To achieve this, SNP implemented SAP SuccessFactors HCM, a suite of cloud-based solutions for human capital management (HCM). But the technology alone wasn’t the full story. The project’s success was accelerated and safeguarded with the help of SAP Preferred Success services.
At the start of the implementation project, SNP asked itself whether it wanted to migrate from its current SAP HCM system to H4S4 or SF. The following arguments spoke against implementing H4S4:
- Lack of mobility: our current system lacks the user experience on mobile devices compared to SAP SuccessFactors.
- Rigidity of processes: lack of flexibility is not fully aligned with the unique needs of SNP.
- Reliance on Consultants: The HR team needs to rely on an SAP consultant for small changes, which can mean long waiting times.
- Lack of analytics: We do not have the analytics we need for managers, HR, or management.
- Lack of innovation: SAP is not investing in the S/4HANA(H4S4) system for innovation. The focus is on SF.
Based on these arguments, SAP SuccessFactors HCM was chosen, and in less than a year, Employee Central had already been introduced in seven countries worldwide.
