1. AI integration in the job description
We have connected the large language model (LLM) “ChatGPT” to the scdsoft Reference Letter Creator, which should make it easier to create the job description for a job reference. Using a predefined prompt, ChatGPT formulates 10 suitable activities based on the stored position from OrgManagement or a job title defined via a free text field. Of course, these activities can then be manually revised by all parties involved in the process. The time savings achieved through the AI connection are enormous. Due to the high added value and the initial positive feedback, we are currently evaluating the connection of further LLMs.

2. DocuSign integration for digital signatures on job references
As part of the fourth Bureaucracy Relief Act (BEG IV), which came into force on January 1, 2025, the use of digital signatures in human resources processes is to be promoted. Among other things, this means that employment references can be issued in electronic form with a qualified electronic signature (QES) with the prior consent of the recipient (Section 109 (3) of the Trade Regulation Act (GewO)).
We took this as an opportunity to implement a connection between the scdsoft Reference Letter Creator and DocuSign, which has already been successfully tested. We have also received positive feedback on the API interface for other solutions such as AdobeSign.
