In many companies, it is still common practice for employees, managers and works council members to log in to the relevant Employee Self Service (ESS) or Manager Self Service (MSS) using their SAP user name and password.

Where there’s work to be done, there are bound to be chips, which is why it often happens that users can no longer remember their password. If no single sign-on (SSO) with corresponding password management has been implemented, the SAP user password must now be reset. Unfortunately, there is no solution for this in the SAP standard other than going through the HR department.
To save both users and the HR service team this manual and inefficient process, we have developed a self-service with which an end user can reset the password independently. We now offer this password reset service for SAP Fiori and the login on the Launchpad.
