More and more companies offer their employees the provision of electric vehicles of various kinds. However, the SAP standard for managing company vehicles is not up-to-date. Currently, it is not possible to distinguish between vehicle types (electric car, plug-in hybrid, S-Pedelec, and e-bike) in the SAP standard. Following the SAP standard, the payslip always lists “PKW” (passenger car).
Additionally, it is not possible to assign both a company car and a company bicycle (Jobrad) to an employee simultaneously. Furthermore, HR personnel must manually reduce the list price to account for the percentage advantages in taxation, which can be a potential source of errors.

We see this as a simplification and accelerator for implementing e-mobility in your SAP HCM landscape. In addition to entering the full list price, it is also possible to differentiate by vehicle type and the corresponding percentage advantages (for each vehicle type). Furthermore, multiple vehicle types can be assigned to an individual.
