Our new Fiori Reporting Cockpit
“Everything was better in the past.”
That may sometimes be true, but whether it applies to everything is a matter of individual judgment. One area where this statement is or was accurate is HR reporting provided to managers. In the past, HR reports for managers could be set up and rolled out quickly and easily using ALV lists with Web Dynpro ABAP. However, with SAP Fiori interfaces, this was no longer the case. In the SAP standard, there was no equivalent for HR reporting under the MSS (Manager Self-Service) applications for HCM. Not every company has Fiori-compatible BW (Business Warehouse) either, and it is questionable to evaluate personal and sensitive data through this medium.
Our solution: The scdsoft Fiori Reporting Cockpit
To address this gap, we have developed a Fiori Reporting Cockpit that displays selected reports to managers about their employees. The application can be populated with existing reports and queries. Custom evaluation paths can be easily configured based on organizational views. In addition to standard time-related evaluations, there are many other possible use cases:
- Time-related evaluations such as
- Clock-in/clock-out records
- Worktime violations
- Time balance overview
- Overview of salary structures
- Employee date overview (probation end dates, birthdays, anniversaries)
and more.
