New in the Portfolio: SAP Security & Compliance, Thomas Kastner Appointed to the Management Board
The scdsoft AG expands its consulting and product portfolio to include SAP Security & Compliance and appoints Thomas Kastner to the management board for this purpose.

In addition to our SAP HCM portfolio, the scdsoft AG can now offer comprehensive expertise in the field of SAP Security & Compliance.
Targeted attacks on SAP systems are now part of everyday life and are becoming more precise. Due to the numerous and complex configuration settings of SAP systems, protecting confidential corporate data, especially personnel data, requires a lot of specialized knowledge and significant time investment.
Extensive legal requirements (such as GDPR) force our customers to invest more in data protection and security. Improved authorization protection, protection of SAP system landscapes, monitoring of processes for security and compliance guidelines, penetration testing are no longer optional but a necessity today.
With this strategic expansion, we respond to the high demand and needs of our customers and can provide sustainable consulting services with a strong and specialized expert team in the future.

Thomas Kastner brings extensive experience in SAP HCM and SAP Security
As the former managing director of Pecaso GmbH, Thomas Kastner brings extensive knowledge and experience in the field of SAP HCM to support and enrich the strategic product and service expansion of scdsoft AG through his many years of HCM expertise. In 1994, Thomas Kastner co-founded his first successful company, Pecaso GmbH, with a team of SAP HCM specialists, which was later sold to Accenture in 2006. As an investor and managing director of Virtual Forge GmbH, he was able to make the company, founded in 2006, the market leader for SAP security and compliance solutions before it was sold to competitor Onapsis Inc. in 2019.
The accumulated experience from both worlds is now combined under the roof of scdsoft AG to offer all SAP customers an extensive range of services in the areas of ‘SAP HCM’ and ‘SAP Security & Compliance.
